Happy New Year everyone! What an amazing year 2023 was as I had lot of amazing spotting moments, and I did a lot of fun things this year! While in 2022, I had an insane top-notch spot with the Ford GT 2017 Carbon Series, this was still my best year for carspotting as it was the most amount of supercars I’ve seen in one year. I started off 2023 with a crazy early year spot as I saw that insane Brabus G550-4x4 in downtown Indy! I was also surprised to see that awesome Viper GTS in downtown Franklin in February, which was also an epic early year find. That was my 2nd newer Viper I’ve spotted. Just before going to Miami, I ended up seeing that amazing and very rare legendary classic GT500 in downtown Franklin the day before the Miami trip! I was stunned to find that especially since those classics Shelby's are so rare and are such valuable collectables. I guess that was an exciting prelude to the trip as I saw so many amazing supercars including my first 4 Aventadors including my first SVJ and SV, and first two Ferrari 812's! It was also great to see my first 488 and F430 down there! It's not only the cars there, but it was also really cool to experience the vibe of South Florida and the amazing scenery around there. What an unforgettable experience that was to do that long run all the way from Hollywood to Haulover Park and see so many cars in Sunny Isles that first evening I got there. It was great way to see a lot of cars and tour around the area! I also loved the boardwalk in Hollywood where I got to bike on that 3 mile stretch along the ocean up to the Dania Beach Pier and back! I also ate at some really good restaurants along that area including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, which I really liked. It’s very beautiful down there and it would be awesome to travel down there again! We would likely stay in Hollywood Beach next time if we go again. I followed up the Miami trip with many more awesome spots in Bloomington and Indianapolis, Indiana in the summer and fall to finish out the year! I was able to get more spots in Indy last summer since I worked at the state fair producing digital media content. I filmed and took pics of stuff like harness racing and a rodeo events. Those were some wild events and very action packed. One night after the fair, I had the surprise of spotting that awesome combo at the Prime 47 steakhouse at the Clay Terrace Mall in Carmel with the Huracan Performante, Bentley Continental and 992 Turbo S! That was a pretty exciting night for spotting! Anyway, for this spot, I caught this very nice red R8 cruising through one of the roundabouts on 96th street on the north side of Indianapolis on the morning of August 12th the day after I saw that crazy combo at the mall. This is one of many awesome cars I saw in Indy last summer in Indianapolis. It was also really cool to go to cars and coffee twice and get to see many awesome cars and connect with so many car enthusiasts! I got to check out the inside of some of the cars, including sitting in a gated R8 V10 and classic modified Porsche! Another one the highlights was seeing an SVJ 63 Edition up close as it rev’d that loud V12 engine and shot flames! It was epic! Next year, I'm hoping to go to more of these cars and coffee events. Excited for many more fun things to come this next year!

Fantastic yearly summary, John. While reading about your Florida experience, it’s almost as if I was there myself lol. I’ve enjoyed seeing all if your spots this past year, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you manage to spot in the new year. Excellent capture of this R8! I spotted a coupe one of these in an identical spec a few years ago.
